It's time to Set some Goals and Counquer them in 2016!

Happy MONDAY! There is something magical about the first Monday to a new year with so much potential ahead of us. If your like me you have already decided that 2016 is going to be ridiculously AMAZING!

So what do you want to accomplish in the next 12 months that will add to the story of your life?

Do you want to become a better parent, travel, grow in your business, serve others, be a better friend or maybe you want to volunteer more? Whatever your goals and aspirations are for this year it's time to set your focus on them and determine what needs to be done to succeed!

1. Brain Dump-
Often I overwhelm myself when thinking of goals because I have too much floating around in there. Grab a pen and paper and in the center label it with the words "Brain Dump". Then write down everything that is in your head. This will clear your mind as well as help you to determine what is most important.

2. Set Some Goals-
We've all learned about SMART goals before. Make sure that the goals that your writing down are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time sensitive. You can do this for both short and long term goals and update them as needed.

***You might want to use a sheet similar to one of these that I found on Pinterest to write your goals on.

3. Get to Work-
Setting goals isn't enough. You must take action! Get an accountability partner, share your goals out loud.
Put in place the effort that needs to done daily to reach those visions that are in your head and conquer them ( to successfully overcome).

May 2016 be a year of growth, goal setting AND accomplishing and finding the things in life that bring you most joy and fulfillment.

Developing a Dream Board

Goals are huge! By writing your goals down they become 9 times more attainable. So what about a Dream board? A Dream board is a visual expression of your goals. Here are a few tips on making your own dream board:
1. Create your dream board on a piece of card stock.
2. You'll want to print off pictures of things you want to have, places you want to go or personal desires.
3. Place realistic dates next to your photos. Being precise about when you want to achieve your goal helps you to put a time line into perspective.
4. Once you've built Your Dream Board, be sure to place it in a place that you see often in your home.
This is an example of my Dream Board, I have both personal and business related goals that I WILL achieve!

Cheers!
Sabrina
