Helpful Links to FREE websites for Elementary Kids

School....
This year we have a 4th grader, 3rd grader and Kindergartner. They are learning so much everyday and it truly AMAZES me how quickly they learn!

There are a few websites that are our go to websites after school that have helped my children to continue to develop those skills they are working on at school. I hope you find them as helpful as we do!

This site is helpful for building on their math facts and has a lesson for each day. It's quick, easy and I think very helpful.

This site is designed for K-5th grade and has tasks at each level in all areas of learning.

My kiddos school is linked to this site. Each week they can come here and practice their spelling words with games, tests and fun activities.

This is a site that again, our school is linked too. If you have an account your child can log in and it is recorded back to the teacher. If you don't have an account it's 100% ok as well. It's very resourceful in helping in all areas of learning.

Purchasing Your Own Domain Name

I've been working from home for almost a decade!
(You can click HERE to learn more about that).
Through the past 9 years I've learned a lot and often get asked questions about what to do to better ones home business.

So if your one of those entrepreneurs who's just getting started or maybe a seasoned work at home mom looking for some fresh ideas, this is the place to be each Tuesday.

No matter what kind of business you have you need to have a working website or some online presence. The facts are you'll be able to do business 24/7, reach a wider audience and will see your income/sales grow by having a platform for folks to find you.

With that being said, if you don't have a website...
...GET ONE!

We're going to take it one step further today. Let's say you have a website. A lot of home based businesses offer sites for their peeps. But it might be something similar to this when you get it.... http://www.thebusinessthatchangedourlives.com/sabrina
Do you see how long that is?!
It's time to Purchase a Domain Name!
My domain name for the above website is, http://www.4MyKiddos.com
  1. Easier to market.
  2. Branding yourself.
  3. Shows your committed.
Go to www.GoDaddy.com (or a similar site) and you'll be able to search for available domains. Most domains will cost under $10.00s for the year. I highly recommend a .com vs. info or any others. And remember less characters the better!

Here's to building a successful brand!

To Be Continued....

 Isn't this window beautiful!?
I think it's stunning, but I love all things old.

A friend asked me to create something new with this piece of history. She was very specific about what she wanted. I am thrilled with how it turned out but it's a gift that my friend is giving and I will need to wait awhile to show the complete transformation until it's been given.

Here's what it looked like when I first received it....

Let me leave you with this quote that is being incorporated with this jewel...
We do not remember days, we remember moments.

Clean Your Home in 10 Minutes

To say time is something that is limited in our busy everyday lives is an understatement!
We all have the same 24 hours in each day but it seems that we're all stretched so very thin that sometimes our homes pay the consequences.

Here's my go to list when it comes to a quick Clean around the house.
{ AKA 10 jobs you can do around the house in 10 minutes or less.}
  1. Take out the Trash.
  2. Scrub the front of your refrigerator.
  3.  Clean the mirrors in your home.
  4. Sweep the Kitchen floors.
  5. Mop the Kitchen floors.
  6. Make your Bed.
  7. Unload the dishwasher. (If that's done you might as well load it with any dirty dishes).
  8. Clean the bathroom counter and sink. (Throw some toilet bowl cleaner in while your at it. I get mine at a discount HERE).
  9. Vacuum the living room floor.
  10.  Sweep your front entry way.
Have a great weekend my friends!

Snow Ice Cream

We had a big snow storm blow in this week and lots of fresh snow with two and a half Snow Days off from school for the kids. So we made our first batch ever of Snow Ice Cream!
It was super easy, didn't taste too bad and the kids loved it.

Here's what you'll need:
1 Cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/3 Cup Sugar
Pinch of salt
8 Cups clean Snow
{I found the recipe HERE }

{SNOW}

This past weekend we had a little skiff of snow. Just enough for a little sledding behind the buggie :)
Compared to today's forecast this looks so minimal but we all had such a fun day.

Hope you all are staying warm in this blizzard that we're having here in Nebraska!

My 9 Year Work Anniversary

9 years ago I took a huge leap of faith and started my journey working from home with an incredible company. Looking back I'm beyond grateful that I took that first step. I've received a pay-check every month while holding my babies, watching first steps, getting to go to school events, being available to help my husband, paying off debt, creating the best friendships and helping other families just like mine.
Beyond Thankful to be able to celebrate this Anniversary.
Not everyone get's to be home with their family by their side while earning an income!
Be Blessed!
