Trash to Treasure Dresser

I picked up this green baby from a friend this summer. It was in good shape but needed a face lift.
I Painted the inside of the drawers a turquoise color and the outside a nice clean, fresh white.
I then ditched the gold knobs and replaced them with turquoise knobs to match the interior of the drawers.
I love how it turned out! A total 360 from it's previous appearance.

From Trash to Treasure Pallet Sign

I love a good DIY! I had this pile of scrap ends from a pallet project I made. And it just so happens I was needing to make a pallet sign for an upcoming event.
I made sure the wood was all cut to the same size (these we're all 18inches). I then fitted them together with screws and wood glue.
Once the glue was dry I sanded. I love the color difference of the scrap wood and rough edges.
I then painted the white heart...
 ... the word "love"...
...and added the arrow.

The wood is just gorgeous!

This beauty will be used as a guest book of sorts for a special, close to the heart event that is coming up... I don't want to spill the beans as to what it is but for those of you who know our family I'm sure have an idea.

My Trash to Treasure Mirror

I found this mirror several months ago. I was so excited about it because I've been looking for a mirror to put in my closet. See my Closet Reveal HERE.

Now it looks like this! I took off the the side mirrors and used a technique for distressing by using Vaseline. It worked fairly well and was super easy.
Here's a closer up view along with a little sign I made for above.
Here's my full view. I love the new mirror and it really helps balance the space.
