Christmas Cookie Packaging... at it's FINEST!

Baking goes hand and hand with the Holiday season in our house! One of my favorite memories as a kid was baking cookies for our neighbors and friends, packaging them with holiday colored ribbons and taking them to those we loved.

Christmas is not about money or how expensive your gifts are. It's about celebrating the gift of the season, Jesus!

Humbly wrapping your handmade goodies in beautiful packaging shows that you truly put thought, time and energy into what you have created for those your gifting. It shows they are special to you!

These ideas are so beautiful, classy and can be created with things most of us have on hand.

EnJOY your Christmas Gifting Season!

Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String

One of the main reasons we have the custom of giving and receiving presents at Christmas, is to remind us of the presents given to Jesus by the Wise Men: Frankincense, Gold and Myrrh.

The presents given to Jesus. This makes me stop and truly think about the Christmas season and the gifts that we extravagantly purchase for those we love. Jesus was a baby born in a stable, yet was gifted some of the greatest gifts of that time showing that people would come to worship Him.

This year as you shop, wrap and give packages to the people you care about, give gifts to remember the true "Gift" - Jesus.

Trash to Treasure Dresser

I picked up this green baby from a friend this summer. It was in good shape but needed a face lift.
I Painted the inside of the drawers a turquoise color and the outside a nice clean, fresh white.
I then ditched the gold knobs and replaced them with turquoise knobs to match the interior of the drawers.
I love how it turned out! A total 360 from it's previous appearance.
