It's time to Set some Goals and Counquer them in 2016!

Happy MONDAY! There is something magical about the first Monday to a new year with so much potential ahead of us. If your like me you have already decided that 2016 is going to be ridiculously AMAZING!

So what do you want to accomplish in the next 12 months that will add to the story of your life?

Do you want to become a better parent, travel, grow in your business, serve others, be a better friend or maybe you want to volunteer more? Whatever your goals and aspirations are for this year it's time to set your focus on them and determine what needs to be done to succeed!

1. Brain Dump-
Often I overwhelm myself when thinking of goals because I have too much floating around in there. Grab a pen and paper and in the center label it with the words "Brain Dump". Then write down everything that is in your head. This will clear your mind as well as help you to determine what is most important.

2. Set Some Goals-
We've all learned about SMART goals before. Make sure that the goals that your writing down are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time sensitive. You can do this for both short and long term goals and update them as needed.

***You might want to use a sheet similar to one of these that I found on Pinterest to write your goals on.

3. Get to Work-
Setting goals isn't enough. You must take action! Get an accountability partner, share your goals out loud.
Put in place the effort that needs to done daily to reach those visions that are in your head and conquer them ( to successfully overcome).

May 2016 be a year of growth, goal setting AND accomplishing and finding the things in life that bring you most joy and fulfillment.

I'm so proud to be apart of that percentage and honored to help contribute to our finances from home. What a Blessing!

Are you looking to own your own business? Maybe you already are a home based business entrepreneur and looking to improve your skills. Here are 5 Characteristics of Successful Women in Business that can help ANYONE.

http://4mykiddos.blogspot.com 1. Set SMART GOALS:
Setting Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-Bound Goals will improve your business by leaps and bounds. By setting goals you know what your working for, what your WHY is and how and when you will attain it.  Remember Setting Goals = Achieving Goals.

2. Creating a Schedule:
http://4mykiddos.blogspot.com/2011/03/few-things-every-mom-should-have-on-her.html    A calendar is a MUST! Now you have your calendar you need to be active in filling it up with income generating activities. I love the highlighting system allowing me to easily see what I have scheduled each day. By having an in-place calendar your able to find balance between family and work.

3. Organization:
Another great characteristic of successful entrepreneurs is the ability to be organized. If you are not organized with time management, phone calls, emails, helping business partners and in all your career you will find yourself in a whirlwind and not know where to turn.

4. Social:
Being social doesn't mean you sit on Facebook all day. Being social is about creating relationships, empowering others, and creating worth while posts so others will want to follow you.

5. Education:
I'm such a HUGE believer that you must educate yourself in your niche market, leadership and business in general. If you don't know the answer to something do not be afraid to do some research, watch some YouTube videos or tutorials. It will pay off in leaps and bounds.

Here's to being a successful Business Owner!

Setting Goals = Achieving Goals

Goals in writing are dreams with deadlines. ~Brian Tracy

In life it's so important to have a vision as to where you want to be, where you see your life going, what you will and will not do. One of the best ways to create that vision is to set Goals. Both short term and long term goals enable you to get through your day to day living with success.

Let me give you an example of a short term goal with the SMART Goal Setting outline... "I WILL vacuum my living room before I have to go to town at 2:00 so the house will be clean when the kids get home from school."
My goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Bound!

Here is a work related example... I WILL follow up with all of my business partners by November 5Th to ensure they have all of their questions answered, needs met and have a clear understanding as to what our November promotion will provide for their families.

By Setting SMART Goals it turns the impossible into being Possible!

Here are 3 other ways to create goals:

1. Create a list of daily tasks to accomplish.

2. Create a Dream Board with photos and goals listed.

3. Use a day-planner/calendar to write goals down next to the date you would like to accomplish them.

There's no better time to set goals then NOW! I encourage you to take pen to paper, write them down, share with someone to keep you accountable and focus on the action rather then the end result.
Remember to stick with it and don't stop until you reach your goal!
