Transformation Tuesday... Side Table

Happy Tuesday you all!
Its been awhile since Ive shared a Transformation Tuesday project. This is a new piece. This side table has beautiful curves and structurally sound. Just needed some love.
Take a look...

All have this piece with me on April 8th at the White Barn Treasures Spring Event! I'm so excited to get to go again!!! Be sure to like their Facebook page to see all of the happenings, times, updates etc.

Before...
This piece was simple yet nothing really popped.

 After...
I love the definition between the two colors and I feel like the curves of the piece are much more evident.
{Paint: Annie Sloan Old Ochre and Graphite, clear wax}

Tall, Dark & Handsome

This baby wasn't much to see when I first got it but had "good bones".
But now...
.
...I absolutely love it!
I used graphite black on the exterior, distressed and clear coat of wax. On the interior of the drawers I painted them a country grey, replaced the old hardware with new and NOW its o so Handsome! I took this piece with me to our recent White Barn Treasures Event and it was a hit and now has a new home.
Have a great weekend Friends!

Custom Flour Sack Kitchen Towels

I'm in love with some of my newest creations!
These are custom Flour Sack Kitchen Towels. I think these are just the cutest little addition to a kitchen.
These will only be available at my favorite fall event.... The White Barn Treasures Event will be Saturday October 8th. Counting down the days!
Creating beautiful things helps me to clear my mind, brings on some healthy brain juices and its almost like free therapy, hah. Each day I thank my lucky stars I have the ability to be home to do things like this that I enjoy!
These towels we're fairly simple to make. I used my Silhouette to create designs that I loved and cut them onto heat transfer material and followed the directions from there.

This past weekend was the Fall White Barn Sale and it was simply AMAZING!

My Mandy and I had such a great day! So many of our friends we're there, yummy food, live music and the best hand made projects you could find in South West Nebraska.
Here are a few photos from my booth:

White Barn Treasures -October 17th!

I'm beyond EXCITED for the Fall White Barn Sale! Last year was the first craft show I was ever a part of and it truly was one of the funnest days.

I've been creating for the past few month's for this day. Here's just a sampling of what I'll be bringing with me:

White Barn Treasures

This past weekend held such a fun blessing to me! A friend of mine has this incredibly beautiful barn! It's stunning to say the least. And she opened it up for the best craft fair I've ever seen!
The day was filled with great friends, YUMMY food & a beautiful setting.
It also held a new venture for me. I love creating, but... everything I have ever made has been for our home or to give as gifts to family and friends. I was so honored to be able to bring a few of my creations to the White Barn.

One of the biggest reason's I decided to bring a few things was because of a devotional that I read early this summer. It said that God is a Creator Himself. For He created the heaven's and the earth and all that lie between them. Not only that but God wants us to use the gifts that He has given us. That devotional has stuck to me like glue through the past few month's. And what a blessing it has been to have that new outlook on creating!
"...whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31
I had the most fun meeting new faces, enjoying getting to know some incredible people and just feeling the blessing of knowing whole heartily that the day was totally in God's hands!

The Day Before:
I took the majority of my creations over to the barn on Saturday and snapped a few pictures of everything before we went home....

Make it a great week!
